Essential Oils: The New Trend of Richmond County

HAMLET - Most of us are too young to remember, but there was a time when people pretty much took care of themselves in most every facet of life.

In another new featured column, the Richmond Observer is proud to announce it will be showcasing a weekly “Raiders Marching Band Member of the Week.” Written by Celve Baxley, this feature will shadow the Official Richmond County Athlete of the Week.

ROCKINGHAM – The Richmond County Commissioners meeting was held Tuesday in Courtroom C at the Justice Center.  And, as usual, there were comments and questions regarding various types of events, projects, and situations throughout the county. What was not so “usual” was the range of focus that characterized the session.

HAMLET – The FirstHealth Board of Directors has accepted a recommendation from the FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Hamlet Board of Advisors to discontinue providing clinical services at Moore Regional Hospital-Hamlet. The last day for clinical services at the hospital in Hamlet will be November 3, 2017.

HAMLET – Richmond Community College’s Small Business Center will offer a free seminar on Wednesday, October 11, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Cole Auditorium. Author and business owner Diane Wolfe will present information about effective websites and blogging for small businesses.
