ROCKINGHAM — According to police, the city’s second homicide of the year also involved the suspect shooting into a vehicle.

According to the Rockingham Police Department, 25-year-old David Giovanni Boseman was killed Saturday, Jan. 16 around 4:30 p.m. while sitting in a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu on Palisade Circle.

The type of firearm used is listed as “unstated” on the incident report.

Samantha Sabrina Issac, 26, of Rockingham, is also listed as a victim, as is the state of North Carolina.

Investigators say Issac was also injured in the shooting.

The crimes under investigation are first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, discharging a weapon into an occupied property, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

No arrest has been made and the case is still under investigation.

This case was the second homicide within three days. The other was Jan. 14 on Cauthen Drive and no arrest has been made in that case.
