ELLERBE — Deputies with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office were in town several hours before the parade Saturday investigating a break-in.

Investigators say a man broke into Ellerbe Pharmacy around 5 a.m., stealing various types of prescription drugs, but did not list any specifics.

They say a pharmacy in Pinehurst was also broken into the same night and the two cases may be related.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, who had not been apprehended as of Monday morning.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact sheriff's office at 895-3232 or Richmond County Crime Stoppers at 997-5454.
