ROCKINGHAM — Probation officers are asking the public’s help in locating a Richmond County pair who reportedly didn’t report in.

Richmond County Crime Stoppers posted photos on Facebook last Friday of Barry “Austin” Lynch and Pamela Guinn.

According to the post, Lynch was given probation Nov. 15 for a misdemeanor conviction of resisting a public officer, but failed to report to his probation officer by Nov. 20 as ordered.

Guinn was placed on probation last January after a misdemeanor larceny conviction in Anson County and stopped reporting in December, according to the post. Her case was set to expire this month.

According to Crime Stoppers, the two are often seen together and both have outstanding warrants on felony charges of larceny and removing an anti-theft device and misdemeanor charges of larceny and second-degree trespassing.

Online court records show Lynch, 25, is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 2 on multiple charges of breaking and entering a motor vehicle.

He was previously convicted of misdemeanor larceny in Anson County in 2018 and Richmond County in 2017, according to records with the N.C. Department of Public Safety Division of Adult Correction.

Lynch was first convicted of communicating threats in Montgomery County in 2009 and cruelty to animals in Richmond County in 2013, records show.

Guinn,30, has pending charges of misdemeanor larceny and an out-of-county probation violation, records show, with court dates scheduled for Jan. 4 and 7.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to call Richmond County Crime Stoppers at 910-997-5454. Those providing tips leading to the arrests of Lynch or Guinn may be eligible for a reward.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
