ROCKINGHAM — A Richmond County man is facing larceny charges after allegedly breaking into the same place three days in a row.

According to arrest warrants, 24-year-old Frank Robert Marciniak, of Horseshoe Road, not far from the South Carolina State line, broke into a building on Aab Lane, which is off of Horseshoe Road.

The first alleged break-in occurred June 11-12, according to a warrant, when Marciniak reportedly stole a belt buckle, an Amazon Echo Dot Speaker and $20.

He is also accused of breaking in on June 13, taking a .22-caliber rifle and an unspecified number of knives, and again on June 14.

Marciniak was arrested and booked into the Richmond County Jail at 1:50 a.m. Monday. He is charged with two felony counts each of breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering and one misdemeanor count of breaking and entering.

He is being held under a $5,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court June 27.

Online court records show is also facing a traffic violation for failing to wear a seat belt.

Records with the N.C. Department of Public Safety Division of Adult Correction show Marciniak was convicted of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance in 2017 and given a suspended sentence.

His probation was revoked the following year and Marciniak spent nearly three months behind bars.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
