A Silver Alert was issued Sunday afternoon for 64-year-old Marylu Carter, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, according to the alert.

Carter — who is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds — was last seen wearing a denim jacket and blue pajama pants. She has medium-length white hair and hazel eyes.

The alert was updated late Monday afternoon with additional information.

She is believed to be driving a blue 2014 Dodge Avenger with New Jersey plates with the number “T22GEP.”

No direction of travel was given.
