What a beautiful sunny day we had from morning to night — 73 degrees for the daytime and a cool 65 for when the sun went down. It had been a few years that rain was not in the forecast. Our crowd was fantastic. Dealing with the hurricanes the weeks before, l think we all were ready to enjoy an outing of some kind.
Familiar Faces to be Found at Norman Fest
NORMAN — The northernmost town in Richmond County is gearing up for its annual fall festival.
Norman Fest, now in its ninth year, will feature a few familiar faces in terms of musical acts and display booths on Saturday.
The Sand Band once again headlines the event, performing on the town’s outdoor stage from 7-9 p.m. Musical acts earlier in the day include the Randy Clay Band and Wayward Reason on the main stage and traditional country music in the town’s community building.
