HAMLET -- Scholarship money is available for the NCCER Electrical Level I program offered through Richmond Community College’s Workforce and Economic Development division. The scholarships will cover all tuition, books and fees, as well as specific supplies needed for the class.

Get Paid to Explore New Horizons as a Truck Driver

HAMLET - Richmond Community College will hold a mandatory orientation for its fall truck driver training course at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, in room 130 of the Lindsey-Petris Building on the college’s main campus in Hamlet. This orientation session is the first step for people who want to get into the training class and begin a career in the trucking industry.

To help local small businesses benefit from all this online conversation, the Small Business Center of Richmond Community College will present a free seminar, “Blogging and Twitter for Business Owners,” from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 9, at the Cole Auditorium.
