ROCKINGHAM – When considering Halloween events to go to, don’t count out Roberdel Baptist Church’s Fall Fest.
On Tuesday, October 31, which happens to be Halloween, Roberdel Baptist in Rockingham will be hosting a carnival-themed fall fest with games including go fish, ring toss, corn hole, and balloon pop. There will also be a photo booth and story time. There will be over a dozen stations in all for children and families to enjoy.
In the fellowship hall, the church will be serving food and refreshments, including homemade soups, hotdogs, chips, and hot apple cider. And, of course, there will be candy; lots and lot of candy.
The Sunday before Halloween, October 29, Roberdel will also be hosting a Fifth Sunday singing with southern gospel group High Top Quartet from Hickory, N.C.
After the service, the men of the church will host a “back-off” competition. They will bring their favorite homemade desserts, and prizes will be awarded based on whose dessert is the best.
The general public is always welcome to church services, and are more than welcome to come out to both the Fifth Sunday service and fall fest!
