USDA extends application deadline for the Quality Loss Adjustment Program
ROCKINGHAM — The U.S. Department of Agriculture is extending the deadline from March 5 to April 9 for agricultural producers to apply for the Quality Loss Adjustment Program because of recent winter storms and some clarifications to program rules. This program assists producers, including those here in North Carolina who suffered crop quality losses due to qualifying 2018 and 2019 natural disasters.

Vendor mails pre-filled voter registration applications with incorrect information to prospective N.C. voters
RALEIGH — Civitech, a technology vendor that works with companies and campaigns to increase voter registrations, inadvertently mailed pre-filled voter registration applications with incorrect name, address and date of birth information to about 11,000 NC residents, the company said.
