HAMLET – The ladies of Spring Hill Wesleyan Church in Hamlet will hold their annual craft fair and bake sale on Saturday, November 11 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

EAST ROCKINGHAM – It was a picture perfect day Wednesday, as the Richmond County Special Olympics (RCSO) held its Fall Bocce Ball Games at East Rockingham Park. With Carolina blue skies and the changing of the leaves in the background, there couldn’t have been a better backdrop.

HAMLET – Despite the closure of Cordova School, two local women helped keep a tradition alive for several youths in the community.

ROCKINGHAM – With all the new eateries opening up in Richmond County, there is one that has been in business for many years.

ROCKINGHAM – On Nov. 11, 2017, veterans of all branches of the United States armed forces will be recognized. In doing so, it must not be forgotten the struggles a lot of them face each day of their lives.

ROCKINGHAM – Discovery Place Kids opened in downtown Rockingham on Feb. 23, 2013 and continues to be an asset to Richmond County in benefitting children’s education.

ROCKINGHAM – To show appreciation for local businesses and industries, Richmond County Chamber of Commerce, along with its partners, hosted “Boots, Brews, and Business” Thursday night at the Richmond County Airport.

ROCKINGHAM – Earlier this week, drivers in downtown Rockingham may have noticed several people walking around with cameras and peeping through store windows. But one is not to be alarmed; it was just the Richmond County Photography Group (RCPG) exploring the area.

EAST ROCKINGHAM – With November right around the corner, Richmond County Special Olympics (RCSO) is getting ready for its annual Bocce Fall Tournament.

LAURINBURG – Veteran’s Day is a time to recognize local military members. But it’s also a time to celebrate their accomplishments, while also saying “thank you.”
