Albert Franklin Ludlum Jr.

ROCKINGHAM — Mr. Albert Franklin “Frankie” Ludlum Jr., 71, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.

He was born June 5, 1950, in Anson County, son of the late Albert Franklin Ludlum Sr. and Shirley Terry Ludlum.

Mr. Ludlum served his country in the United States Army and was a member of AMVETS. He loved doing yard work and fishing, and especially loved his dog, Buddy. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Franklin and Shirley Terry Ludlum.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Sealey Ludlum, of the home; daughters, Nikki Lockey and husband, Jason, of Hamlet, Hope Potter and husband, Wayne, and Emily Johnson, and husband, Aaron, all of Rockingham; brothers, Jerry Ludlum and wife, Toni, of Hamlet, and Scottie Ludlum and wife, Bonnie, of Scotland Neck; sister, Ruthie Smith and husband, Milton, of Rockingham; seven grandchildren, Cameron Mabe, Jarrett Lockey, Robert Potter, Courtney Lyde, Cody Troxler, Mason Johnson, and Aiden Johnson; and great-granddaughter, Ayla Lyde.

Graveside services will be held privately.

The family requests memorials be made to: Richmond County Hospice, 1119 U.S. Highway 1 N, Rockingham, NC 28379.
