Alliene Jordan Morrison went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2022.
She was born in Richmond County to Emmett and Molly Watkins Jordan.
Alliene was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Molly Jordan; her siblings, Janie Inman, Suzie Blackburn, Carl Jordan and Bernie Jordan. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Donald Morrison Sr.
Alliene was married to Carl Donald Morrison Sr., whom they shared a life in the Navy. Upon Don Morrison’s retirement they settled back in Richmond County where they raised two children. Alliene loved working at Burlington Industries and retired in 2001. After retirement, Alliene loved having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren over so she could love on them.
Alliene was an avid gardener and loved having her family around her.
She is survived by her son, Carl Morrison (Tammy) and daughter, Sabrina Montgomery; she has one brother, Emmett Jordan Jr. (Christa), and sisters, Wilma Spencer (Chuck) and Bernice Owens. She has five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate her life will be at 3 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2022 at Place of Grace Campus with inurnment following in Eastside Cemetery. Pastor’s Gary Richardson, Gerald Goins and Alex Perakis will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00am – 12:00 pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Place of Grace Ministries.
