Amanda and Karsyn Horne

GREENVILLE — Amanda Paige Horne, 41, passed away Friday, July 10, 2020 in Ahoskie, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Her daughter, Karsyn Paige Horne, 9, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center due to injuries sustained in the same automobile accident.

There will be a private family service to celebrate their lives Friday, July 17, 2020 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery.

Amanda was born Sept. 15, 1978 in Richmond County, and was a daughter of Vicki Bell Taylor and the late Jeffrey Lynn Horne. She was a graduate of Richmond Senior High School in Rockingham.

Karsyn was born March 23, 2011 in Wake County, and was a daughter of Amanda Paige Horne and Mitchell Ray Davis. She just completed the third grade at Ridgewood Elementary School in Greenville.

Amanda is survived by her children, Noah Horne of Ft. Eustice, Virginia, and Madison Hodges (Luke) of Portsmouth, Virginia; her mother and stepfather, Vicki and Eric Taylor of Fair Play, South Carolina; her brothers, Jeff Horne (Alicia) of Anderson, South Carolina, and Matt Horne of Hamlet; her stepsister and stepbrothers, Emily Padgett (Joel) of Mount Gilead, Ryan Taylor of Richmond, Virginia and Spencer Taylor of Clemson, South Carolina; her nephews, Cameron, Trey, Aidan and Maddox Horne; and her aunts, uncles, cousins and their families.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Jackson Horne.

Karsyn is survived by her brother and sisters, Noah Horne of Ft. Eustice, Virginia, and Madison Hodges (Luke) of Portsmouth, Virginia; her father, Mitchell Davis (Bridget) of Laurel Hill; her half-sisters, Tiffany and Jennifer Troublefield  and Alexis Hunt, all of Laurinburg, and Keisha Driggers of Shallotte; her grandparents, Vicki and Eric Taylor of Fair Play, South Carolina and Calvin Frier and Polly Kersey, both of Laurinburg; her niece, Gracelyn Hodges; her uncles, Jeff Horne (Alicia) of Anderson, South Carolina, and Matt Horne of Hamlet.
