YADKINVILLE — Amanda “Mandy” Shepard Blue, 48, of Yadkinville, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Mandy was born July 27, 1972 in Scotland County, a daughter of the late Stephen James “Buddy” and Ada Delores Dawkins Shepard. She had been employed with Ferrell Gas for 21 years.
Surviving are her husband Everett S. “Spergie” Blue Jr.; daughter, Taylor Armstrong (Brandon); grandson, Mason Armstrong; stepchildren, Matthew Blue (Paige) and Madison McLaughlin (J.R.); step- grandchildren, Cameron McLaughlin, Maddox Blue, and Mia McLaughlin; brother, Greg Shepard and sister Amber Shepard.
A service to celebrate Mandy’s life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2021 at Cobb Memorial Baptist Church with Odell Shepard officiating.
The family will see friends following the service.
