HAMLET — Ann Keziah McDonald, 81, of Henderson Street, Hamlet, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020 at her residence.

She was born July 20, 1938, in Richmond County, daughter of Robert Lee Keziah Sr. and Pauline Reeves Keziah. 

Mrs. McDonald was a member of First Baptist Church of Hamlet and a homemaker. She was a kind gentle woman that loved her family and her church. She loved to travel and was able to do so with her late husband. She will be missed by her many friends and family.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020 at First Baptist Church, Hamlet from 11-12 p.m. 

The Funeral will begin at 12 p.m. in the church with Pastor Allison Farrah officiating.

Burial will follow at Richmond Memorial Park, Rockingham.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Henry McDonald Sr. and her siblings.

Survivors include her daughters, Peggy Ann McDonald of Ohio and Margie Paulette McDonald of Gaffney, South Carolina; son, James “Jim” H. McDonald Jr. of Hamlet; close and dearest friends, Fred and Donna Desrochers of Hamlet; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
