ELLERBE – Belinda Kay Smith, 56 of Ellerbe, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. Belinda was born September 14, 1961 in Richmond County. She was a teacher’s assistant at Mineral Springs Elementary School.
Surviving are, her husband, Bobby Smith; son Travis Smith and girl friend Kayla Devaney; daughter, Sabrina Shelley and husband Eddie; parents, Violet and Ray Baker; daughter-in-law, Amanda Smith;
Grandchildren, Isaiah and Samuel Smith; brothers, Steve Bryant and Allen Bryant and wife Julie ; nephews and nieces, Mercedes and James Peregrine, Damon and Tess Bryant, Timothy and Emily Braddock and Ellie Puckett; aunt Faye Reynolds; and special family, TK Khampanya and fiancee Desirae Ball.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday and Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe, with Rev. Jason Lutz officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:45 – 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.
