CORDOVA — Brenda DeBerry Wallace, 54, of Cordova, passed away, Monday, Aug. 2, 2021, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Richmond in Rockingham.
She was born in Richmond County Nov. 1, 1966, daughter of Earl Junior DeBerry and Fannie Lois Freeman DeBerry.
Brenda was the manager of Cato’s in Rockingham. She loved her son and her family. Brenda enjoyed traveling, especially to Bahamas, camping at the beach with her sister and brother-in-law, and working in her yard. A beautiful lady that will truly be missed!
She was preceded in death by her dad, Earl Junior DeBerry on July 29, 2021.
She is survived by her son, Deven Wallace and wife Megan of Hamlet; mother, Fannie Lois Deberry of Cordova; sisters, Bobbie Knight and husband Dump of Pinebluff and Wanda Halliburton of Lexington, South Carolina; nephews, Jonathan Smith of Holden Beach and Clyde Smith III of Cordova; great-nephew, Eli Smith; great nieces, Addison and Kinley Smith; her son’s best friend, whom she treated as her son, Brandon Snead of Cordova; and her cat, Jingles.
All services will be private.
The family will meet at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, 400 Poplar St., Hamlet.
