ELLERBE — Charlotte Quick Grant, 83, of Ellerbe, completed her earthly journey Saturday, March 20, 2021.
Mrs. Grant was born Feb. 8, 1938 to Everett and Mary Shankle Quick.
She was a member of Ellerbe First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. Charlotte owned the H&R Block franchise in Rockingham and Ellerbe for many years and currently was the owner and operator of Charlotte’s Tax Service in Ellerbe. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed large family get togethers. Reading, gardening, canning, cooking, crocheting and knitting are just a few other things she enjoyed.
She is survived by her husband, Haywood Grant; children, Debra Quick (Solomon), Donna Thomas (Clay) and Neal Grant (Lana); grandchildren, Matthieu Quick (Leslie), Andrew Quick (Lori), Joshua Quick (Sabrina), Zach Roscoe (Candace), Carli Hough (Austin), Duncan Grant (Autumn) and Lexi Jo Grant; and nine great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Ellerbe Cemetery with the Rev. Robbie Stewart and the Rev. Wayne Luck officiating. Face coverings are required and please be mindful of social distancing. Friends and family are welcome to bring lawn chairs for the service.
