David Rodney Morgan, 57, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Rodney was born April 9, 1961 in Richmond County, a son of the late Claude and Bertha Mae Cox Morgan. He was member of Rockingham Wesleyan Church and had formerly been employed with Burlington Industries.
Surviving are his brothers, Claude Morgan, Jr. (Elaine) of Leland, NC and James Morgan (Levonda) of Salisbury, NC; 5 nieces and nephews and uncle, Fairley Morgan of Rockingham.
A service to celebrate his life will be at 11 am Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. David Rollins officiating. Interment will be held privately.
The family will see friends following the service at Carter Funeral Home.
