Mrs. Deena Honeycutt Maree, 68, of 362 Midway Road, Rockingham, died, Thursday, November 30, 2017, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
She was born February 22, 1949, in Smithfield daughter of James L. and Ethel Cox Honeycutt.
Deena was a member of Sweet Haven Church, Rockingham.
Visitation will be held at Sweet Haven Church, Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at other times family will receive friends at home of her son, Mike Maree, 421 Hawthorne Avenue, Rockingham.
The Funeral will be Sunday, at Sweet Haven Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mitchell Roller and Rev. Mike Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Memorial Park, Rockingham.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James L. and Ethel Cox Honeycutt; son, William “Billy” Shoe; and daughter, Sandra S. Lynch.
Survivors include, her husband, Ollie Maree of home; daughter Tracy (Bruce) Goodwin of Shelby; step daughter, Crystal Strickland (Jerry) of Hamlet; step son, Mike (Melissa) Maree of Rockingham; brother, Richard (Jenny) Honeycutt of Charlotte; sisters, Carol (Jeff) Britt of Biscoe, Sue (Ken) Brown of Monroe, Lynn (David) Britt of Lexington, Terri Greene of Seagrove,& Zelton (Allan) Davis of Seagrove; eighteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
