ROCKINGHAM — Dennis Ray Singletary, 69, of Rockingham, passed away on Feb. 17, 2021.
He was born on March 17, 1951 in Richmond County, a son of the late Elmer and Gladys Melton Singletary.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021 at SonShine Valley Church with the Rev. Steven Millen officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his son, Ronnie Singletary; and brothers, Eugene Singletary and Richard Singletary.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Alber Fay Singletary; son, Dennis Ray Singletary Jr. (Crystal) of Kentucky; daughter Candy Martin (Adam) of Hamlet; grandchildren, Adam Martin Jr. (Meghan), Kali Wood (Dakota), Chase Singletary, Catherine Sessom; great-grandchildren, Addi, Eligh and London; his siblings, Bobby Singletary, Roger Singletary, Nancy Millen, Gail Singletary, Donald Singletary; and his canine companions, Coconut and Regal.
