RALEIGH — Mr. Eddie “Glue” White Jr., 59, formerly of Hoffman, son of Mary White and the late Edmond “Eddie” White was born Aug. 21, 1961 at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. He departed this life on Feb. 15, 2021 at 8:39 p.m. at his home in Raleigh, with family surrounding him.
He was united in marriage to Joan Kelly in 1981. Glue celebrated love with Joan for 39 years. To this union, two daughters were born.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Joan Kelly White of the home; two daughters, Renita Kelly of Hoffman and Princess White (Patrick) of Aberdeen; four grandchildren, Savion Kelly, Jon Brower Jr., Nevaeh Brower and Patrick Brower; five sisters, Ruby Marsh (Mack) of Aberdeen, Sarah White of Fayetteville, Rosa White of Hoffman, Helen White of Aberdeen, and Nancy B. Hardy of Vass; four brothers, Roy White of Laurinburg, Thomas White and Richard White of Hoffman, Dereck White (Brittany) of Carthage, (one brother, Lonnie White preceded him in death); his mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James and Edna Kelly of Hoffman; two sisters-in-law, Janice Zinnerman (Johnny) of Hoffman and Jeanetta Kelly of Maryland; one brother-in-law, James Kelly (Cynthia) of Raleigh; 12 aunts, 12 uncles, 17 nephews, nine nieces, a host of relatives and many, many special friends in Raleigh, Hoffman and the surrounding areas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Hoffman.
