CHARLOTTE — Eferin L. Grice, 81, of Charlotte, crossed over to eternal life on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021.
Mr. Grice is survived by his wife, Martha; son, David (Heather) Grice; and daughter, Jennifer (Christian) Michelsen. He also leaves behind a granddaughter, Hailey Grice; a grandson, Josh Grice; and sister-in-law, Pam Covington.
Mr. Grice, originally from Greenville, South Carolina, served his country in the Marine Reserves. He was an avid reader with a passion for history and sports. He made it abundantly clear that the Grecian chicken at Ted’s Restaurant was the best in Charlotte. His quick wit will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to know him.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Carrington Place in Matthews for everything they did for Mr. Grice and his family. Carrington Place doesn’t have staff members. They have angels on duty.
