ROCKINGHAM — Frances Lucille Smith Edmonds, 86, of Rockingham, passed away on July 23, 2019 at Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital-Richmond Campus.
She was born on Dec. 17, 1932 in Darlington, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Charles Smith and Joann McCormick Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Ray Edmonds Jr.
She is survived by five children, Brenda Stogner, Gloria Faries, Darlene Watts, Michael Edmonds and Daniel Edmonds; and other numerous family members.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Richmond County Memorial Park, with the Rev. Joe Wilkes Jr. officiating.
