Gayle Brigman Freeman, 73, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center in Concord.
Mrs. Freeman was born April 5, 1944 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Genoah Brigman and Maxine Jenkins Brigman McCuiston. She was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Freeman and brothers, Donald Brigman, Joel Brigman and David McCuiston.
Surviving are her sons, Michael Freeman (Tammy) of Monroe, Darin Freeman of Rockingham; grandchildren, Jennifer F. Renkovish (Thomas) of Sharon, SC, Jamie Freeman and Deven Freeman, both of Rockingham; great-grandchildren, Thomas “T.J.” Renkovish and Christopher Renkovish, both of Sharon, SC and brother, Mark McCuiston of Wilmington.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm Monday at Beverly Hills Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Briles officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.
The family will see friends from 3 to 5 pm Sunday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home.
