Gracie Allen Snead, of Rockingham, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2021 in Pineville, North Carolina. She was 85 years old.
Gracie was born in Rockingham on April 1, 1936 to the late Hubert and Lena Allen.
Gracie was preceded in death by her husband, June L. Snead of Rockingham; and her parents, Huber and Lena Allen also of Rockingham.
Gracie is survived by a dedicated son, Ryan Allen Snead of Charlotte; a daughter, June Renee Snead Bullion; two granddaughters, Whitney Wright Goodman and Taylor Wright; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Allen Maske of Rockingham and Jo Ann Allen Bruce of Dunedin, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and loving cousins.
There is no need for somber clothes. We request that what you wear matches the joyful, upbeat and cheerful spirit that Gracie exuded to everyone she encountered. We look forward to sharing this special occasion with you.
