Hamp Kinnie Robinson

BENNETTSVILLE, S.C. — Hamp Kinnie Robinson, 82, of Bennettsville, South Carolina, passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Mr. Robinson was born Aug. 21, 1938 in Marlboro County, South Carolina, a son of the late Earl Henry and Theo Steen Robinson.

He had served in the National Guard and attended Prevatte’s Chapel Church. He had worked with J P Stevens Co., was a farmer and owner and operator of K&R Pinestraw.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Robinson; brothers, James and Bobby Robinson; and sisters, Virginia Younginer, Pauline Huckabee and Cynthia Grant.

Surviving are sons, Sandy Robinson (Sandy) and Jessie Robinson (Amanda); grandchildren, Kaia Robinson, Hannah Robinson and Zane Searcy; brother, Sammy Robinson; and sisters, Delia Fowler, Ann Patterson and Kathy Feagin.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020 at the Robinson Family Cemetery, 4202 Lightwood Road, Bennettsville, South Carolina. Face coverings are required and social distancing is encouraged.
