HAMLET — Hazel Elise Solomon Allen, 92, of Hallmark Avenue, Hamlet, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, at Peak Resources, Gastonia.
She was born in Richmond County June 22, 1927, daughter of Marshall Solomon and Irene Perkins Solomon.
She was a member of Outreach for Jesus and formerly worked in textiles.
Visitation will be held at Outreach for Jesus, Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 2-3 p.m.
The funeral will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor Marvin Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Northam Cemetery, Rockingham.
She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Allen; sister, Ruby Russell; and a brother, Sherill Solomon.
Survivors include her daughters, Debra Williams of the home, Iris Norton of Laurel Hill and Charlene Allen of Gastonia; granddaughter of home, Kelly Lynch; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be left in her memory to Outreach for Jesus, 661 Cheraw Road, Hamlet, NC 28345.
