Hilery Hudson McKay, Jr., 87, of Marston, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at his home.
He was born on December 22, 1934, in Richmond County a son of Hilery Hudson McKay and Sadie John Steele McKay. He was a U.S. Army veteran, was a member of Marston Presbyterian Church and retired from Sears as a Truck Driver. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Virginia Ann Moore McKay and his son-in-law Dannie Greene
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Karen M. Greene, William H. McKay(Dawn), and Lynn M. Peele(Gene), grandchildren Laura Greene, Marcus Greene, Daniel Greene, Matthew Peele and Jonathan Peele, step-grandchildren, Bessie Tadlock, Audrea Tadlock and sister Anne Shaw.Â
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Marks Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Reverend Jim Ritter officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service and other times at the home of William H. McKay.
