BURLINGTON — Ms. Doris Paul, 81, of Burlington, formerly of Hamlet, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at Hospice & Palliative Care of Alamance, Burlington.
Ms. Paul was born Dec. 4, 1940, in Richmond County, daughter of the late Howard and Glennie Robson Paul.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Paul and Roger Paul; and sisters, Kathleen Wright and Olivia Paul.
Ms. Paul is survived by her son, Michael Paul (Tammy), of Burlington; granddaughter, Heather Guerrera (Joey) of Raleigh; great-granddaughter, Eleanor Guerrera; brothers, David Paul (Phyllis) of Concord, Cecil Paul (Christine) of Hamlet, and Vernon Paul (Carolyn) of Bennettsville; sisters, Betty McLean (James) of Roseboro and Carolyn Leviner (Leonard) of Rockingham; and special friend and caretaker, Betty Richmond.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy, Ghio, with Pastor Robin Jones officiating.
