James Calloway Fletcher

CORDOVA — James Calloway Fletcher, 90, of Cordova, passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021 at Richmond Pines, Hamlet.

He was born in Union Grove, July 12, 1931, son of James Conklin Fletcher and Sally Blankenship Fletcher.

Mr. Fletcher attended Sweet Haven Church, was a veteran of U.S. Navy, a member of VFW and the Moose Lodge, and was previously employed with Nabisco as a salesman. He loved to travel and enjoyed talking to people; he had a very outgoing personality. The last few years he was known as the “Pie Man!” 

He is survived by his three daughters, Susan Wheeler of Southern Pines, Patty Peele (Wayne) of Laurel Hill and Nikki Fletcher of Hamlet; grandchildren, Andrew Wheeler, Kristina Katekovich and Weston Smith; four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Alyssa, Kruz and Samuel.
