ALBEMARLE — James Edward “Pete” Mack, 72, of Albemarle, formerly of Hamlet, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020 at his residence.
He was born July 11, 1948 in Rockingham, son of Hugh Edward Mack and Cora Cain Mack.
“Pete” worked previously for CSX as a machinist.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020 at Marks Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery at 11 a.m. Burial will follow.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Mae Lee Blackmon.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Phifer Mack of Mount Gilead; daughters, Terra Samantha M. Davidson (Michael) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Pamela Denise Mack of Southern Pines; son, Franklin Edward Mack of Rockingham; sister, Wilma Lorain McKenzie of Arkansas; and four grandchildren.
