Janet Quick Hall

ROCKINGHAM — Janet Quick Hall, beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, passed away Oct. 29, 2021 due to COVID-19 related issues.

Janet was born on Aug. 24, 1966 to Silas and Mary Quick.

She loved her family and friends but most of all adored her daughters and granddaughter. Janet earned an Associate in Arts Degree at Richmond Community College and was previously employed by Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Specialized Services. She loved the beach and spending time in her pool, but her pride and joy was her granddaughter. Her sense of humor, smile, and laughter is what everyone loved about her and she will truly be missed by many. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Richmond Memorial Park, Rockingham, with Pastor Ronnie Wayne Chavis officiating. Due to COVID-19 please wear face covering and continue to social distance.

She was preceded in death by her father, Silas Quick; and sister, Kathy Quick.

Survivors Include: her daughters, Sarah Hall, Hannah Hall and her granddaughter Remani A. Quick of the home; mother, Mary Quick, of Rockingham; sisters, Susan Martinez (Israel) of Hamlet, Lori Warren of Rockingham, Lynda Quick of Rockingham, Betsy Locklear (David) of Rockingham and a host of nephews and nieces. 

There will be a public viewing from noon-1:30 p.m. prior to the graveside service at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham.
