ROCKINGHAM — Mr. Jerry Davis, 58, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham.
He was born Dec. 31, 1960, son of the Jimmy and Jean Parris Davis.
Jerry was a graduate of Richmond Senior High, where he played in the band. He was a mechanic, working in a number of applications, from automotive, textile, and heating and air manufacturing. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Rockingham with President Stanley Seibles officiating. The family will have visitation one hour prior to the service starting at 10 a.m. at the church and other times at the home.
Jerry is survived by his parents; a daughter, Natalia Chavis and husband Chris of Rockingham; a son, Jeremy James Davis of Rockingham; sisters, Joy Smith and husband Gene of Rockingham and Jan Farley of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and nieces and nephews.
