ROCKINGHAM — John Jay Turner Jr., 49, of Blewitt Avenue, Rockingham, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020, at Hospice Haven.
He was born Feb. 22, 1971 in Richmond County, son of John Jay Turner Sr. and Joyce Barmer Dyson.
John was a former fork lift operator at Cortex. He was a very caring person that always put others first. He enjoyed watching all sports, but Dallas Cowboys was a favorite.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Joyce Barmer Dyson of Rockingham; and his brothers, Christopher Brown of Albemarle and Trey Brown of Rockingham.
