HAMLET — Jordan Aaron Buie, 25, of Hamlet, passed away Monday, Feb. 28, 2022 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill.
He was born in Richmond County on Oct. 22, 1996.
Jordan loved hunting, fishing, mudding, and even enjoying a beer at the lake. He was the proud owner and operator of Buie’s Lawn Care & Landscaping, LLC. Loving his family was his priority.
Jordan was preceded in death by his mother, Jamie Lynn Ashworth.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Oliver Buie; grandparents, Mack “Papa” and Glenda Buie of Hamlet, Phyllis Wilbanks of Sunset Beach, and Janice Dawkins of Hamlet; brothers, James Mack Buie of Indian Trail, Lagan Cudd of Asheville, Billy Kaurin of Hamlet, Byron Deaver of Clayton and Brent Deaver of Ellerbe; sisters, Destiny Buie of Hamlet, Taylor Buie of Holden Beach and Brooke Hilton of Rockingham; aunts and uncles, Johnathan and Ashleigh Buie, Elizabeth Malter, Jennifer and Ryan Guinn and Tim Buie; cousins, Alysah Buie, Justice Buie, Elizabeth Buie, Emily Buie, Paxton Burr and Nevaeh Burr.
A Celebration of Life service will be held privately by the family.
