ROCKINGHAM — Mr. Lawrence L. “Larry” Morrow Sr. left his earthly life Nov. 6, 2018. He was born June 13, 1931 in Butler County, Pennsylvania, to Thomas Leroy Morrow (deceased) and Flora Reardon Morrow (deceased). 

Larry was an Army veteran, having achieved the rank of major. He was retired from the transportation industry for the past 17 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 492 in Clarkston, Georgia.

Larry was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence “L.J.” Morrow Jr., two sisters and a brother.

Survivors include his wife, Charleen Bailey Morrow; their son, Lee and his wife Michelle, and their two daughters, Alissa and Bella, all of Knoxville, Tennessee; his daughter, Debbie Kintz and husband Robert of Chapel Hill; and his son Steve Barker and his son Austin of Franklin, Tennessee; and extended family, Carolyn Crandall and husband Jim of Bluefield, West Virginia; Michelle Harford and husband Bo of Conyers, Georgia; Tony Morrow and wife Angela of London, England; Tommy Cooper of Conyers, Georgia; Gina, Joe, Julia, and Elliott Wyman, all of Florence, Massachusetts; Joanna and Chase Robinson, of Boston, Massachusetts.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at Glenwood United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joel Perry officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Glenwood United Methodist Church, 221 County Home Road, Rockingham, NC, 28379.
