ELLERBE — Leon Goodwin, 66, of Ellerbe, passed away Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
A memorial service to honor his life will be held at New Hope Baptist Church in Ellerbe on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Tim Hawks and Pastor June Grant officiating.

Leon was born Jan. 31, 1954 in Richmond County to Hester Goins Dillon of Ellerbe and the late William Welsey Goodwin. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Darryl Goodwin of Wilmington and Michael Goodwin of Aberdeen.
