ROCKINGHAM — Lillie Rachel Frye Bullard, age 82, of Rockingham, passed away on Dec. 9, 2018 at Hospice Haven.
She was born in Moore County to the late Coy Rudolph Frye and Bessie Medlin Frye. Ms. Bullard was a member of West Rockingham United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Coy Frye and stepson Gary Bullard.
Mrs. Bullard is survived by her husband of 36 years, Eugene T. Bullard of Rockingham, and her former husband and father to her children, Irvin Eugene Blake of Rockingham; Her children, Deborah J. Blake of Rockingham and Max Blake (Brenda) of Durham; stepchildren Mickey Bullard (Nancy) of Hamlet and Larri Whitehead (Jimmy) of Holden Beach; grandchildren, Lance Miller (Heather) of Indian Trail and Randi Wood (Walt) of Rockingham; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Nathan Wood and Josiah Miller; and many nieces and nephews as well.
Funeral services will be held at Carter Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at 1 o’clock with the Rev. Chris Thornton officiating. Visitation will be held at Carter Funeral Home from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to the service.
