ELLERBE — Lucille Fulp Mabe, 95, of Ellerbe, passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Mrs. Mabe was born Feb. 16, 1923 in Stokes County, a daughter of the late Revie and Ida Shelton Fulp. She was a faithful member of Saron Baptist Church. She had worked with Gilead Manufacturing and retired from Norrell Healthcare. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dewey Mabe; a daughter, Janie Mabe; a grandson, Chad Lee Williams; brothers, Bobby, Billy and “C.L.” Fulp; and sons-in-law, Jim Marshburn, Harvey Henry, Ronald Williams and Sammy Petty.
Surviving are her daughters, Patsy Marshburn of Pinehurst, Becky Henry Manshack of Polkton, Norma Williams of Ellerbe, and Tammy Wright of Ellerbe; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Bernie Fulp of Rockingham and sister, Elva Mabe of Ellerbe.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Ellerbe with the Rev. Wayne Luck officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 11:45 a.m.–12:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
