ROCKINGHAM — Margaret Viola McLean King, 94, of Rockingham, completed her earthly journey on Thursday, May 21, 2020.
Mrs. King was born Feb. 9, 1926 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Edward and Essie Kennedy McLean. She was a longtime member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and had retired from Klopman Mills.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Legree King; and a son, Kenneth King.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Denise Taylor (Michael); grandchildren, Michael Taylor (Angelina), Erica Taylor and Steven Taylor; great-grandchildren, Jessica Canter, Gavin Taylor, Charlee Taylor, Kennidy Taylor and Emily Hayes; and her brother, Ralph McLean (Gertrude).
Services will be held privately at Eastside Cemetery in Rockingham.
