ROCKINGHAM — Mary Catherine Smith Wyand, 83, of Rockingham passed away Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. She was born in Richmond County, a daughter of the Charlie and Addie Mae Smith.
Mrs. Wyand was a homemaker.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021 at 2 p.m. Richmond Co. Memorial Park Masuoleum with the Rev. Joe Wilkes officiating. Entombment will follow.
Surviving, a daughter, Elaine Leviner and husband Wayne “Coon” of Rockingham; a son, Jimmy Wyand of Norwood; a sister, Ilene Chavis of Laurinburg; and 10 grandchildren.
There will be a public viewing from noon-4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021 at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham.
