Noah ‘Randy’ Stubbs Sr.

ROCKINGHAM — Noah Randolph (Randy) Stubbs Sr., age 74, of Rockingham, passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 with his family surrounding him. 

Noah was born July 13, 1945 in Rockingham, a son of the late Noah Anderson Stubbs and Mary Ruby Harrelson Elvis. He worked in textiles. He was a U.S. Army veteran. His passion in life was his family and music. He loved mentoring people who wanted to learn. He also loved watching the Richmond Raider football team play on Friday nights.

Noah leaves behind his wife, Linda Stubbs of Rockingham; son, Randy Stubbs (Angel) of Rockingham; sisters, Linda Elvis and Joy Bundy of Hamlet; grandchildren, Ashley Stubbs, Savannah Stubbs, Noah Stubbs and Adam Stubbs, all of Rockingham; along with many other loving friends and family.

Funeral arrangements will be on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 12 p.m. at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Mike Childers and the Rev. Johnny Cox. 

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 18 at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist. Family will receive friends at the home of Randy (Booger) Stubbs.
