Mr. Alvin Henry Williams, age 82, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022.
Alvin was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Margaret Williams; his wonderful son, Danny Reid Williams; his mother and his father; and 12 of his 15 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his two sons, Gary (Jada) and Michael (Mendy) Williams; his daughter, Joan (Dan) Killeen; his grandson, Alan Michael Williams; three grand-daughters, Karen (Chad) Polk, Jessica (Nick) Henseler, and Kennedy Williams; his twin sister, Ally Newton; and two brothers, Ray (Lena) Williams and James (Vickie) Williams; his sister-in-law and her husband, Brenda and Curtis Therrell; along with many other surrogate kids and grandkids over the years (you know who you are).
Alvin loved the Lord and so enjoyed reading his Bible. He was an extremely hard worker and did whatever needed to make sure his family was taken care of. He would do anything for anyone and was a gem of a man. He will truly be missed.
A graveside service will be held at Richmond Memorial Park Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, where Alvin will be laid to rest alongside his beautiful wife, Margaret, and son, Danny.
