ROCKINGHAM — Amy Corder Truett, 51, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022 at her home.
Amy was born Aug. 14, 1971 in Randolph County, a daughter of James Wayne and Colleen Jeffers Corder.
She was a graduate of Richmond Senior High School, Class of 1989, had worked as a cashier and in textiles, but being a homemaker for her family brought her the most joy. She also enjoyed spending time at the beach.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband, James E. Truett; daughter, Amber Long (Clint); granddaughter, Jaycee Long; sisters, Leigh Ann Locklear (McGarrett) and Jami Hinson (BJ); and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022 at the home.
