Billy Ray Lyerly, 82, of Hamlet, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
He was born in Richmond County on July 10, 1941.
Billy Ray served in the United States Army. He was a Class A welder and taught welding at Richmond Community College for many years.
He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.
All services will be held private by the family.
The family will receive friends at the home, 115 Ridgeview Drive, Hamlet.
