ROCKINGHAM — Casey Dianne Dawkins, 36, of Supply, formerly of Rockingham, passed away Friday, Sept. 30, 2022 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice House in Bolivia.
She was born Dec. 7, 1985 in Richmond County.
Casey was a member of Green Lake United Methodist Church. She graduated from Richmond Senior High School. Then she attended East Carolina University and finished her degree at Richmond Community College. She worked several years as administrative assistant UNC Pembroke-RCC campus. Casey was working toward finishing her Bachelor’s degree online prior to her death.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022 at noon at Green Lake United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terry Cornelius and Pastor Jim Pegan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving are her parents, Jack and Dianne Dawkins of Supply; and her daughter, Makayla Jacy Dawkins of Supply.
The family will receive friends from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
