Catherine Frances McMahon, 55, of Ellerbe passed away Saturday, July 7, 2023 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Catherine was born Dec. 13, 1967 in Long Island, New York, a daughter of the late Edward and Joan Ott McMahon.
She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Frances Fitzgerald, Edward McMahon and Anna McMahon.
Surviving are her husband, Mark A. Spruill; children, Robert McMahon, Arthur Moore, Samuel Spruill Wills, Mark Spruill Wills, Cathy Spruill Wills, Joan Spruill Wills, LaToya Spruill Wills and Linda Spruill Wills; 15 grandchildren; siblings, Joan Lumpkin, Theresa Fleming, Linda McMahon, Steven McMahon, Richard McMahon and Frank McMahon; stepchildren, Bobby Crump, Kevin Hall and Kecionda Morgan; and 14 step-grandchildren.
The family will hold all services privately.
Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe is assisting the McMahon family.
