HAMLET— Cheryl Parker Robinson, 75, of Hamlet, completed her earthly journey on Monday, Nov. 28, 2022.
Mrs. Robinson was born April 11, 1947 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Harold and Hettie Mathis Parker.
She had attended Cordova Baptist Church and most recently, Ghio Church of God of Prophecy. She worked for Klopman Mills and retired from Sara Lee Hosiery. Following her retirement she worked with Family Dollar as a manager until she retired. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved all of her family.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Ernest J. “John” Robinson; children, Paul Robinson (Arlene), Tracy Robinson (Billy) and Paula Hood (Sam); grandchildren, Michael Robinson, Brittany Robinson, Taylor Carbary, Andrew Shaw, Hallie Butler and Maxton Shaw; 10 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Glenda Thompson, Miriam Haire (Tommy) and William “Dink” Parker. Also surviving are many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022 in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Wayne Shaw and Tommy Haire officiating. Interment will follow in the Robinson Cemetery in Hamlet.
The family will see friends from 12:45–1:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
